Public relations office
The public relations office (Ufficio Relazioni con il Pubblico, URP) provides users with all the information they may need concerning the services available. One of its specifi c functions is also to listen to the citizens’ requests and receive any recommendations and complaints, which the offi ce is committed to answering with a view to constantly improving the services. This reporting service enables the service managers and general public health directorate to be informed not only about any service shortcomings or service provision problems, or issues concerning access to the services or the violation of a citizen’s rights, but also to receive suggestions for improvements or indications on customer satisfaction levels.
Complaints and suggestions can be presented to the URP:
- personally, by going directly to the offi ce (in which case, the staff member receiving the complaint fills in a report on a specifi c form);
- by letter, fax or a form available at the CdC;
- by phone;
- by e-mail.
If a user refuses to give his/her personal details, then the complaint is not registered and no further action is taken.
The URP staff record the complaints they receive in a specific register and, for service shortcomings that are easy to deal with, they guarantee a written response within 20 days of having received a complaint.
